The Spirit of JNU Student Politics: The Funeral of Vidrohi

<<The canonical version of this content is accessible on jtmartelli.com. Ramashankar Yadav, commonly known as Vidrohi (the rebel) is considered by many as a mascot of left activism. Living as a vagrant poet in Jawaharlal Nehru University, he died suddenly at a protest site on December 8, 2015. This footage, taken at his funeral, is the testimony of the relevance of political selflessness and idealism among student activists at JNU. This material is exhibited as part of the Memories of Change exhibition.
